About Me

Come to the edge.
We might fall.
Come to the edge.
It’s too high!
Come to the edge!
And they came,
and he pushed,
and they flew.

Christopher Logue

Come to the edge

Sometimes during your life, you may have willingly moved to the edge. Perhaps to progress your career or to embrace a life change, or simply to experience the excitement of an adventure.

You may have been unwillingly close to the edge, perhaps feeling vulnerable and unable to cope with day-to-day work and life. And, there may have been occasions when you have found yourself resisting the edge for fear of the unknown, for fear that if you jump off, you may not be able to fly!

Taking flight

It is a brave step to begin the process of counselling, therapy or coaching and to talk to a stranger about what may be troubling you.  We often feel we should be able to cope on our own, perhaps you are feeling uncertain and scared about what might happen.  These are understandable feelings and an initial appointment will give you an opportunity to talk in confidence without fear of judgement about your concerns and emotions and for us to establish how we may work together to support you to understand yourself better and to help you make changes.

Landing in a different place

This can be challenging and frightening as well as extremely insightful and rewarding.  Changing patterns, thoughts and feelings can help personal change to take place.

I enjoyed a long career in PR followed by a change to an East End Charity.  Having experienced the pressures and rewards of business life, reaching Board and CEO positions.

Additionally, I have worked as a Consultant with many diverse and varied organisations from start-ups to large corporations and I remain an active Trustee of an East End Charity.

Today, I offer private counselling, psychotherapy and coaching in both EC1 and North West London.  I also work in the NHS with individuals and groups.

Counselling & Psychotherapy

As a psychodynamic psychotherapist and counsellor, I work both in private practice and in the NHS. I help with a wide range of emotional or relationship difficulties, working one to one with adults of all ages, cultural backgrounds, genders and sexual orientations offering short-term and open-ended therapy.

As a coach, I help many people of varied ages, cultural backgrounds and genders who ‘feel stuck’ and are unsure of the best way to move forward.

“Coaching is the art of facilitating the performance, learning and development of another”.
